ANPIA nasce con lo scopo di valorizzare e tutelare i metodi, i temi e gli approcci conoscitivi e operativi dell’antropologia sociale e culturale nella loro applicazione, divulgazione e utilizzo nel mondo del lavoro, della società, e della politica, tutelando i soci, la committenza e i datori di lavoro nel reciproco rispetto. L’Associazione rappresenta, promuove e garantisce le professioni antropologiche socioculturali, quindi i professionisti che aderiscono all’Associazione, impegnati sul territorio nazionale e internazionale per proprio conto o per conto di università/enti pubblici o privati/associazioni/società. In tal senso promuove aggregazioni nazionali e internazionali di altre associazioni coerentemente con i propri scopi e finalità e nel rispetto del proprio statuto e codice deontologico.
