The AFIN Centre and Research Group welcomes applicants for Marie Skłodowska-Curie
Postdoctoral Fellowships to 12 from 36 months research within the field of reproduction, childhood and family. The AFIN Research Group is based at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona campus in Bellaterra, Barcelona.
Project description:
AFIN-UAB welcomes an applicant to Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowships to enhance the
creative and innovative potential of the research, through the training and international
mobility. AFIN Research Group analyses the challenges (at individual, family and social
levels) of changes in reproductive patterns to identify the collaboration and tensions
between the interests and rights of intended parents, ‘third-party’ providers,
intermediaries/brokers and the individuals –children and adults– born through these
processes. Therefore, a candidate with a high research profile that aims to analyse the
cultural, social and political aspects of the following fields – but not limited to – will be
prioritize:

Family and Kinship
Childhood and Youth Studies
Sex and Gender Studies
Health and Gender Studies
Personhood, Body, Health, Death
